Download our Lens flares material library for blender.
To change the flare color just play with the R G and B values of the node RGB curves. To change the flare intensity use the C curve of the same node.
To set the len flare position move the cross you can see on the screenshot. This cross “empty” is the parent of a mesh with only one vertex. The material is assigned to this mesh.
To select the flares just change the material.
Don’t forget to activate “Composite” under the render area.
